The exact amount of scholarship is not available as per official website. Scholarship is provided to 5% of fresh admission students every year. Eligibility for scholarship is decided by university. The selection depends upon academic performance and financial needs of a student. Students can fill scholarship form after their admission. Documents such as income certificate, etc. have to be attached with the form.

There are total 20+ subjects in the programme. The course is divided in four-years and eight semesters. Syllabus of each semester is different. Some subjects in first semester of all courses are same. Some subjects include Design methods, Fundamentals of design, Design overview, etc. Apart from theory and practical subjects, the curriculum also includes Internship. There are two internships. The duration of summer internship is two months. It starts may onwards. Moreover, final year students have to do a full-time internship.

The structure of programme is divided into eight semesters. The course includes multiple theory and practical subjects. Along with this, a summer & full-time Internship is also a part of syllabus. The core subjects vary and depends upon specialisation opted by student. However, first semester subjects are common for all courses. Common subjects include Design methods, Fundamentals of design, Design overview, etc.

The course curriculum is divided eight semesters. Each semester has different number of total subjects. The core subjects depend on specialisation pursued by student. However, there are some common subjects in first semester of every course. Some of them are Design methods, Fundamentals of design, Design overview, etc. Other than core subjects, a summer internship is also a part of third year syllabus. For final year students, completion of a full-time internship is mandatory.

There is no specific division of seats under State Quota and All India Quota. However, a vertical reservation up to 50% as per Maharashtra Government norm applies. Category-wise reservations are applicable for state students only. EWS seat reservation is for all. There is 5% reservation for Ex/Active Service Personnel children. Applicants outside Maharashtra are considered in General category.

There are total 300 seats offered. The course is offered in 10 specialisations. Each specialisation has different number of seats. There is a seat reservation up to 50% for reserved categories. 5% of total seats are reserved for Ex/Active Service Personnel. However, they should have Domicile of Maharashtra or shall be posted there. Moreover, the applicant must have passed their Class 12 from Maharashtra.

Yes, there is a seat reservation at MITID BDes course. However, exact bifurcation is not available. The university follows State Government norms for seat reservation. The maximum reservation could be up to 50% for SC/ST/OBC categories. For EWS, additional 10% seats are reserved. Other than this, 5% of total seats are reserved for children of Service Personnel.
