Yes, anyone can do it - Chandigarh university offers Industrial Design as a B.Des (Bachelor of Design) programme for students who want to focus on creative design, innovation, and practicle projects. This programme is open to students from any stream in 12th with minimum 50% marks. At the same time, Industrial Design is also offered as a specialisation under B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering). So, Industrial Design is available in both B.Des and B.E. pathways.
