Yes, candidates who wish to apply for ITM-IDM Mumbai BDes course can do so. If the candidates have not registered for the ITM-IDM entrance exam, the registrations for that begin from April 17th, 2026.
Candidates who have their scores from NIT DAT or SEED can apply through those scores as well.

Yes, candidates who wish to apply for ITM IDM BDes admissions without appearing for NIT DAT can do so by appearing for a different entrance exam. The institute also accepts scores of SEED for BDes admissions. Additionally, ITM IDM also conducts its own entrance exam for BDes admissions.

I'm not fully sure about the exact eligibility details for Rachana Sansad School of Architecture and Interior Design, but generally for B.Arch in India, students need 10+2 with Mathematics and must qualify exams like NATA or JEE rest please visit the official site

From what I've seen, for M.Tech in Designing & Urban Development, Lovely Professional University is a decent option because of its infrastructure, software exposure (design tools), and flexible eligibility. It's good if your son wants a mix of technical + practical learning with industry exposure.
But honestly, Compared to others, LPU is easier to get into and offers good facilities.
