The maritime industry demands rigorous physical and academic preparation that distance or correspondence courses cannot provide. Therefore, any qualification obtained through part-time or distance learning is automatically disqualified for both the B.Tech Marine Engineering and B.Sc. Nautical Science programs at the institute.

No. MANET only accepts candidates who completed their education through regular schooling. Applications for B.Tech Marine Engineering or B.Sc. Nautical Science involving part-time, distance learning, or correspondence courses will not be considered for any of the maritime programs.
