The duration of the distance BCA course is 3 years. However, it can also be done within a period of 3 to 6 years if opted in distance learning mode. The course is spread across six semesters and consists of various core and elective subjects which candidates must complete in order to successfully complete the course. They must also finish laboratory assignments and submit project work in the final semester for being awarded the degree.

Yes, you can apply for CAT. The main criteria of eligibility for CAT is graduation from a recognised university. So, whether the education mode is full-time or correspondence, if the university is recognised by the UGC, the candidates will be eligible to appear for the CAT exam.

See, the Distance LLB degree is not recognised by the Bar Council of India; hence, this programme is not provided by any UGC-approved university in India. Though you can check out some institutions like Mbitious Institute of Professional Studies, Atharav Distance Education, Pratham Institute of Education, Vidyasaathi, Success Path Institute of Management, etc.
These institutes will provide you with a Distance LLB degree to help you gain knowledge in legal studies, but you really can't start a Law career with it.
