No, NLSIU ( National law School of India university), bangalore does not offer LLB in distance mode. It provides a regular 3-year LLB and 5-year BA LLB (Hons) . Program through full-time on - campus learning. However, NLSIU offers distance learning Diploma programs in subjects like Cyber Law, Human Rights Law, and Intellectual Property Law. For LLB through distance mode, consider universities like IGNOU, Annamalai University, or Karnataka State law University.

No, you cannot pursue a B.Ed through distance model/ODL without an NCTE-approved degree. As per NCTE (National Council for teacher education) guidelines, candidates must have a recognised teaching-related qualification or  teaching experience to enroll in a distance B.Ed program. However, you can purse a regular B.Ed after completing a bachelor's degree (BA, B.Sc, B.Com) with at least 50%  marks from recognised university.

Hello! Greetings everyone

"Pursuing an LLB through online or distance mode can be convenient for working professionals, but there are important factor to consider:

Bar Council of India (BCI) Recognition: LLB degrees obtained through distance or online modes are not recognised by the BCI. This means you won't be eligible to practice law in India or appear for the All India Bar Exam (AIBE), which is mandatory for practicing lawyers. For more details you can visit official website.

Thank you

Students can study the 2-year B.Ed programme at distance-learning format through Aristotle College of Education as the programme holds recognition from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Students can pay the course fees amounting to approximately INR 60,000 to INR 80,000 through installment payments. The costs for studies at Aristotle College of Education differ based on what institution you choose and which state you are located in. Check the payment amounts together with certification information by contacting the school directly.

M.A. in Functional English is not offered from the Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University. Their distance education programs as of March 28, 2025, include the following M.A. options: English, Tamil, History, and Sociology.

They provision M.A. Functional in their official offering, because it is a specialised course that concentrates on the practical aspects of language. There is a standard M.A. English course, which would be only open to holders of bachelor's degrees. The fees are quite affordable, about INR 7,000-10,000 per year, and admission just needs an online application with requisite documents.
