No, the MD course in India cannot be pursued via distance or online mode. It is a full-time, practical-intensive postgraduate programme regulated by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
It involves hospital rotations, clinical practice, and hands-on training under supervision. Any MD degree pursued via non-traditional modes will not be recognised or valid for medical practice or employment in India.
