Candidates who wants to take admission need to complete graduation and Post graduation with 50% and for those who has done B.Tech, B.Sc and B.Sc mathematics with 55% can apply for B.Ed.
For admission in B.ed course it is essential that in graduation at least two subject out of- Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Biology, Maths, History, Home-science, history ,Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Social-Science, Economics and Commerce and one subject out of the aforementioned subjects in 12th class.

This is because the study material of IGNOU is of international standards. The university is also recognised internationally for its distance programmes. The university has a good number of study centres spread across the country.

Yes, you can do that. University Grants Commission (UGC) approved that a student can pursue two degrees at the same time but not as a regular student. The rule says "One degree as a regular student and another degree through open/distance learning". So, you can pursue one regular degree from a university of your choice and another one from an open university i.e. IGNOU, VMOU, etc.
