For that, you have to score more than 150 marks to get into these institutes otherwise you can't be able to get into these colleges.

The chances of getting into these colleges in core branches with this rank is quite low, but I'll prefer you not to lose hope and appear for the counselling, till the last round. It may be possible that you can get admission in some good branch, you can get some other NIT. You can try in that, but the main thing you should remember is that take the core branch only.

The closing rank of CSE for outside Delhi region students was 1800+ for DTU and of NSIT was below 1400 in 2017 and before that it is approximately INR. 1.5k and INR.1.2k respectively.

You are try your best, but the chances of getting this college is quite low. So, I'll prefer you to look in other colleges also. If you get any of these colleges, then it is good to have it, but if not, then you should have a backup plan, you can opt for any other NIT like NIT Kurushetra and NIT Jalandhar, these are also good NITs.

I'll prefer you to opt for the DTU, as this is better than the NSIT for the CSE branch, as this college has more qualified as well as more faculty members that are pleased to teach students new and new things that are happening in the technology world.

It depends upon the cut-off of that particular year as the number students varies under the category seats if they are filled under the 5-6k. Then, more no. of students securing less marks can also get into this college.

For DTU's CSE branch, you have to secure 250+ marks and almost under 3k rank to get into in this college.
