There are few companies which come to hire engineering physics students in core profile, Boston, Texas Instruments being some of them. Most of the students actually go for other roles such as coding or analyst and some of the students go for higher studies. Being a student of IIT Delhi myself, I know that students of this branch are not that happy with curriculum and unless they have deep love for physics, the students always try to get out of this world of physics.

You must go for computer science and engineering because the placement in DTU for computer science and engineering is very good and you may get a lot of opportunities in this branch.
Thank you.

DTU has one of the best placement record after legacy IITs. If you study well, you will definitely get placed in a good company.

Lateral entry admission is for students who have completed Diploma in engineering or B.Sc. You as a B.Tech student are not eligible for lateral entry admission for B.Tech in DTU.

Both are good but DTU is old and reputed so I will suggest you going with DTU. The placement record of both the universities is almost same.
