Chances are less at this score, you may get Amity Noida, FMS BHU, NDIM Delhi and LBSIM Delhi calls most probably. Placements are decent enough at above-mentioned colleges.

The average placement for mechanical is something around Rs 8-9 lakhs per annum. But I have to say that this is for core companies. A large number of the mechanical get placed in non-tech companies or opt for govt. jobs . Please upvote the answer to allow me to continue answering.

You have not mentioned the name of any other college to which I have to compare DTU. But overall the placements of DTU are excellent. Almost everyone who is eligible gets placed and with quite a good package. The average in all the branches is approximately Rs 10 lakhs and rises for most of the branches. As you are from Delhi 85% seats are reserved along with defense quota, if you manage to score good grades then there will be a possibility to get a seat.

DTU, NSIT, IIITs have their own common admission counselling called JAC which starts from the end of May.

It is a very good college. They focus on the dual specialization in first semester. In third semester, they provide IT management, supply chain management and knowledge and technology management. The placement record is also good.
