National Aptitude Test NAT is a national level examination conducted for engineering and management aspirants. The exam is conducted by Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology, Panipat. The applicability of NAT is limited to Asia Pacific Institute only, Hence NAT is not valid for admission in NIT, DTU and NSIT.

In general, it goes up to 85 percentile and for OBC. It goes up to 75-80 percentile. These figures are taken from the previous year's results. So, it may change depending on the number of students applied for it.

Yes, it's available. Or admission to B.Tech programme through Lateral Entry candidate should have completed a Diploma in any Engineering branch through the regular mode from any recognised institute. Diploma should be awarded by any State Board of Technical Education/ Diploma recognised by AICTE, Delhi. Any work experience is not required to apply for admission to the course. Also, candidates belonging to the general category are required to have secured at least 60 percent marks in the qualifying examination (Diploma) or equivalent CGPA.
