Yes, Delhi Technological University (DTU) offers a B.Tech programme in Computer Engineering. However, it is not available through the Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET). The Computer Engineering programme is offered to students who clear the Joint Entrance Examination JEE Main and secure a rank that meets the cutoff requirements set by the university. It is important to note that the availability of specific branches of engineering and the admission criteria may be subject to change from year to year.

DTU conducts the LEET exam for lateral entry admission in different branches of the Bachelor in Engineering course. With a rank higher than 10,000, you have fewer chances to get admission, especially if you belong to the Open category. The reason is that according to the seat matrix, there are around 2514 seats available for lateral entry, out of which only 915 are open seats. Therefore, with 44,000 ranks and 74% in the 12th Board, you may not get admission to DTU considering the level of competition for admission there.

Hello Mohaneesh P, it all depends on the state government. Normally speaking the directorate of technical education of the states have data in tabular format where you can check your eligibility for a particular branch during lateral admission process depending on the branch in which you did Diploma. Never Heard of such a case. Personally, I don't think that is possible because a college is not Sure if you have learnt enough to clear DTU first year from your Education in another college. There is just not enough on paper to prove that. An exception to this case is very hard to come by and not be possible without VC' intervention. Such a thing only happens in foreign exchange programs and I don't think the stay is permanent.
