No, you cannot apply for DTU LEET (Delhi Technological University Lateral Entry Entrance Test) after completing your Diploma course from a non-AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) Polytechnic college.
Here's why:
- DTU LEET Eligibility Criteria: The official DTU LEET information brochure explicitly states that candidates applying through the lateral entry scheme must have completed a three-year Diploma programme in Engineering or Technology from a recognised institution affiliated to AICTE. Admissions to the B.Tech programmes under the lateral entry scheme are offered on the basis of a written test which is conducted by DTU. The DTU LEET exam pattern is as follows
Duration: 2 hours
Mode of Exam: Written or online exam.
Marking Scheme: Every correct answer will be awarded four marks, and for every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.
The merit will be prepared on the basis of DTU LEET examination scores, which will be calculated on the basis of the candidate's performance in the written/online test.

The merit list for DTU LEET is prepared based on the marks obtained by candidates in the entrance exam. The merit list for all categories will be published on the official website. Candidates who qualify for the exam will be called for counseling based on their rank in the merit list.
