Hello Shamini,It is very nice indeed to know your aim of going in for PG in this branch of engineering. Fundamentally speaking one needs graduation degree and electrical and electronics if you want to pursue PG in this subject. In addition to this, you need to appear for and clear your GATE exam with good marks if you want to get admission in some of the reputed universities. Of course some private unaided institutes have their own entrance exam for PG and if you intend to get admission there then you will need to appear for and pass their particular exam. That's all. Best wishes to you.

EEE - Basics of electrical and electronics engineering in which you'll be studying Basics of both the electronics and what drives them. Not studying solely electrical engineering can open up jobs for you in non-core companies as well and will give a broader idea. EE - This is a pure core branch of engineering with study of electrical and their practical. Choose what you want to dive in and best of luck.

It is too early to dive into what you should do in your future. In this initial years, just get to know what you're good at and what you're not at. Like, if you can spend rest of your life in a stream or you need a change. Do go through the curriculum and it's practical work and check with yourself, if it's your USP or not. Only after then you will be in a position to decide for your future endeavors. You can get a good job, you can go for Masters, or you can come up with your own Startup. Just wait for the right time.

It is better to know what you love. It is better when you know it before getting wasted in engineering. You surely can pursue journalism. What you need to do is leave engineering and enroll in a Mass media college which are present in majority in all the tier 1 cities. Get your admission and follow your dreams.

Well, definitely the scene kind of varies from year to year and also based on the special quotas you are eligible for. Furthermore, if you are open to Bangalore and outside of Bangalore colleges, both of the categories, then there are wide range of options for sure. My advice is, check the record of last 5 years to get an idea. You will then get an overview of what to look forward to.
