Yes, it is good branch. You can go for IT and even core companies. Its related to electrical and electronics and even a little computer Science, though it depends upon the syllabus of the college.

Krunal bhai I will suggest you that these days emphasis is on CSE, Civil and Mech. , but it also depends upon your choice. If you are somebody who wants to sit in an AC office then ofcourse CSE is for you but if you are somebody who doesn't mind working in the field then Civil and Mech. Are very good options. These days Civil and Mech. Students are also getting good offers. Now the most important thing is the university/ college that you choose for your degree. During a job, you cannot pursue the regular B.Tech course. AMIE may the good option for you. You can also seek about the colleges (AICTE approved) offering B.Tech part time course, but NOC will be required from Railways for pursuing such B.Tech courses.

Yes, you are eligible, if he has done BCA from a recognized college/University by AIU. Further, BCA is an undergraduate degree, hence you are eligible if meeting the other criteria.
