No, it is really typical to get admission with such a rank in VITEEE. However, to get admission in your desired branch, the cut-off rank will vary considerably (for example, for CS it is under 8000). VIT will normally call around 20K students for counseling. They have announced their results & if you are within this then expect communication. After this, if seats are vacant then the second round will take place.

Marks help to a certain extent in getting a good salary but it is not guaranteed. Good companies like CISCO, Microsoft, Google, etc. pay above INR 10 lakh salaries to beginners in India. Aim for a good career, not a high salary.

You are not eligible for MBA because you are not a graduate. You are advised to do graduation degree first to seek admission in MBA. Diploma in engineering after 10+2 is not equivalent to degree because it is 10+3 course not 10+2+3 years course.

No, your B.Tech percentage is good but for M.Tech, you have to score well in the GATE exam in order to get a good college and better future.
