JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per MNNIT Allahabad JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 12422 for General category candidates in All India quota for Electrical Engineering. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 19772 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The requirements are mentioned below:

• Applicants are expected to hold a B.S. degree in electrical engineering (EE) or computer engineering (CpE) from an accredited institution.

• Applicants are also expected to have a minimum grade point average of 3.0

IIT Dhanbad cutoff 2023 ranks for BTech in Electrical Engineering other than General category are mentioned below:

• 2938 for OBC
• 1589 for SC
• 638 for ST
• 136 for EWS

 While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at NIT Jamshedpur has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 22174. In 2023, it decreased to 20752. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from

This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

The syllabus of B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering lateral entry from 2010 to 2013 may vary from college to college. Some of the common subjects are Engineering Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, Signals and Systems, Control Systems, Power Electronics, Electrical Machines and so on. The syllabus may also include some additional subjects, such as Computer Programming, Engineering Drawing, and Environmental Engineering.
