Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the general category under All India, the opening rank was 12119 and the closing rank was 17884. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even the domicile of the home state. In All India, the opening and closing rank for female candidates was 19345 and 26487. Whether you should go for electrical engineering in the top three IITs or computer Science in IIT Ropar depends on your personal preferences and goals.
