I don't understand that for which problem you are talking about. I think that you are afraid of the change in the stream from electrical to computers. Right? So dear, I want to clarify that there is no harm in changing the stream from UG to PG. You are absolutely eligible (provided you must have to fulfill other conditions also). However, your visa investigation officer may ask about this question. And trust me, you must have to convince him with your answer. You may face this (that why you want to change your stream?) in US's university application form. So be prepared for the answer. Otherwise, all is well.

There are many students like you who are desirous of getting out of engineering into a new field. Of course it's always good to realise this at earliest so that not many years are list. Have you done diploma after 10th or 12th? If after 12th, then no problems. But please get to know your passion. Arts/ commerce/ humanities/fine arts? It's best to pursue what you like or subject of your passion. Any of the above you can do. But it's better that you decide it yourself rather than me enforcing it on you.
Best wishes
