A 3-year Diploma in engineering is considered equivalent to 10+2, thus makes you eligible for Commercial Pilot License.
If you have completed your Diploma you are welcome to join the CPL course.

There are many areas you can choose from like VLSI, Nanotechnology, Embedded sciences etc. You can do your Masters in a specialization you are interested in. Choose a sector which is versatile like power generation, embedded systems etc because in EE many areas become obsolete like telephones etc. You can also check the SOL of Australia and see areas in demand and then choose.
