It's a tough one. If you want to join the core sector after engineering, go for IET Lucknow. And if you are okay with joining a non-core job, it may be anything like consulting or coding. Then, join IIT BHU. IIT gives the exposure and experience.

As I think that if you're stuck at the admissions, whether to choose mechanical engineering or electrical engineering than I'd suggest you to choose that which you think is best for you. Both streams have their importance if we look for mechanical as we all know that Mechanical Engineering is a core and evergreen branch. Almost all core industries and manufacturing units makes use of machines. Thus, for functioning and maintenance of machines, qualified Mechanical Engineers are needed by such Industries!
Best of luck!

Hello Vikash,
The basic difference between these branches are they are different branch.
Now in electrical you need to study about flow of current in AC and DC machines, electrical appliances, generation of electricity but in electronics you need not to study about current and electricity. Study of semiconductors and their uses are to be taught in electronics.
According to recent times electronics is preferred over electrical due to better scope in future and also decent placements at present.
Hope it helps.
Good Luck.
