The min percentage required to take admission in this college is 60%. If you want to pursue engineering then you have to give the COMEDK examination.

The scope of EC engineering is very vast but it depends on the geographical area of India. If you are living in the west then you should not think about ECE as there is no scope but if you are living in south, there is a huge demand.
ECE is not just a single field with one or two sub fields. It is an hybrid field. You can hop into electrical, automation, IT, Bio medical field after doing ECE.

ECE is about electronics and how the different electrical components (Microprocessor, RAM etc.). Communicate with each other. It has more Physics in it. There is a little programming involved but not much. CSE deals with telling these components what to do and when to do it; by programming them. It has a lot of logic involved and Maths too. Eg: In designing a tablet/phone, all the hardware work is done by the ECE people and all the software stuff (making the different components like RAM, processor talk to each other, and the Operating system) is done by the CSE people. The placements in ECE branch are quite good. Many IT and core companies visit for the placements. If you are good then you can get good job opportunities. Minimum CGPA required to attend the placements is 6.5.
