Well, both are top NITs but you should go as per your interest. MNIT, Jaipur is among top 5 but civil branch has less scope as compared to EC branch. You should go for EC branch which is most demanded and future scoring branch. All the best.

Hi Gaurav,
Both institutes stand in top institutes of India. But as it is said old is gold MNIT, Jaipur is a perfect place for study. A good environment of Jaipur Pink City give you the comfort. MNIT has better infrastructure, better facilities, better faculty, more funding, more exposure for students etc. So go for MNIT. Apart from that focus on branch.

According to the past records the opening rank for ECE Branch to get admission in NIT Rourkela is 4578 and closing rank is 8837. The probability of getting the admission in NIT Rourkela is quite less. If your luck favors then you can surely get into NIT Rourkela. But please do not loose your confidence and hope as you can surely get into other NITs. Other NITs are equally good for ECE branch. The other NITs are:-
