It is unlikely to get ECE at IIIT Kalyani with a General category rank of 72000+. The closing ranks for ECE at IIIT Kalyani, even for the General category, typically fall below 44,000. No the admission in Vellore institute of technology doesn't give direct admission in any branch or ECE.
The entrance exam VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination) is mandatory to get admission in the institute to take admission in different branches like ECE
