Yes, Definitely. EC is the field which leads to the robotics field. You can get yourself in robotics after taking the EC branch which is most demanding field in modern era. It do have a long life future.

It's completely your call, but doesn't seems the college having great placement, and it would be better to go for M.Tech/MS inspite for Diploma after graduating in engineering with such good pointers. Mount Carmel College, Palace Road, Bangalore offers a 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration degree with total fees of Rs. 50,000. According to last year placement records, the average package offered was around Rs. 3-4 Lacs per annum. Some of the Companies / Recruiters who visited the campus are:
Accenture, biocon, Cognizant, DE Shaw, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Goldman Sachs, Google, HCL, HP, ICICI Prudential, GATE Indian

Please refer Nit Warangal official website. They have provided opening and closing rank of each department as well as as per quota. By referring that, you can expect your admission chances. Please don't consider that cutoff will be same for this year too. It changes every year but there is not much difference. Hope this was helpful.
