It has good facilities and faculty members. It is totally a good and excellent college.
Placements: SIT has excellent placements. Among 90% of students got placed last year. The highest package of my branch is more than 30 LPA. Almost every company visits our college. About 90% of students got internships in companies like Commscope, Emerson, Amazon, etc. The top roles offered are full-stack development, software development, data science, testing, etc. Overall, it is an excellent and outstanding college.
Infrastructure: We have a Wi-Fi facility all over the department and it works in 5 GHz. We have well-structured labs, classrooms, and seminar halls. We have a library where we get all books which we need and in libraries, we have a separate section for each department. I was not in the hostel. I am a day scholar, but I have listened to my friends who are in the hostel saying there is a Wi-Fi facility and the food is good.
Faculty: The teaching in the SIT is very good. All faculty members are well-qualified for the post. They have more knowledge about the course and they share with students too. The course curriculum is relevant. The pass percentage of exams is 40% and attendance should be 85% to be eligible to write exams.
Other: I chose this college because I was searching for a college which is near to my home town and then I got to know about SIT and all said it is one of the best colleges. In our college, fests are less, and education is more. It conducts events and some fests.

My college has very good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 100% of placements will be provided in my college. The highest package is 11 LPA. The lowest salary is 3.5 LPA, and the average salary is 6 LPA. TCS company's number of students are going local only for internships. The roles offered to students are the main thing is coding programs.
Infrastructure: Facilities are average, not good not bad. The infrastructure is good for comparing the other colleges. The facilities of my college hostel are good but one time there are not maintained properly. For sports activities, college is fully supportive. My college got many cups in interzone game.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They are more supportive of the students. They have taught me many for my life and they are supporting sports and cultural activities also. Semester exams are very strict and we could not copy from others. The passing percentage is very good that we get the very college in Karnataka. My college comes under 10th rank in Karnataka.
Other: Many events were very good in the year.

Review of Siddaganga Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placements are usually good as long as you are in a good branch. In 2021, the highest package was 41 LPA, which was given by Intuit. In 2022, it is reduced to 31 LPA, which was given by Oracle. So as long as you are an above-average student, you will get the placement. But if you want to have a top catch, you must work hard, learn coding, attend hackathons and make unique projects.
Infrastructure: First of all, keep in mind that this is an old college so do not raise the bar too high before coming here. The infrastructure is quite old, except for some buildings that were built later. In simple terms, I do not recommend it to anyone. The food is pathetic and the hostel is very hygienic.
Faculty: Personally, in my department, which is ECE, teachers are very strict. If you even come 3 minutes late to the class, the teacher will not allow you, and since the college has a strict 85% attendance policy, it would become a big problem for you afterwards. You can generally leave up to four classes, depending on the credit of the course.
Other: The college has clubs that provide coding competitions almost every month, which will help in developing coding skills that will eventually help you in your placement. The fest is below average, and the music played is mostly in the regional language. The campus has a lot of greenery, and it is huge. You can get a scholarship here if you are a top performer in the entrance exam that you took. There are also sports activities that happen. Cricket is the most popular, followed by basketball and football.

It is the best top college in Karnataka and it is my favorite college.
Placements: The placement process for my course was efficient, with about 85% of students securing jobs in their respective fields. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, while the lowest was around 4 LPA. On average, students received packages of 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course were companies like TCS, Infosys, and Amazon, which actively participated in the placement drives. Around 60% of students also got internships through the course, with placements at leading companies like Cognizant, Wipro.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure and facilities for students, including well-equipped classrooms, libraries, and computer labs. The campus is also equipped with Wi-Fi, and the administration is response to student needs. However, there is room for improvement in the placement training, as some students felt that they were not adequately prepared for technical interviews. Overall, the college offers a decent placement record with excellent infrastructure, but it could work on providing more hands-on training and exposure for students to improve their placement prospects further.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and generally helpful. While some teachers are highly knowledgeable and engaged in the subject, a few could have been more interactive. Teaching quality varied depending on the subject, but overall, the faculty put in effort to ensure understanding. The course curriculum is largely relevant to the industry, though there are a few areas that could be updated to reflect the latest trends and technologies.
Other: The college organizes a variety of events and fests throughout the year, such as names of major events/fests which provide a great opportunity for students to showcase their talents and network. The campus crowd is diverse, creating a vibrant and inclusive environment. Connectivity within the campus is reliable with strong Wi-Fi coverage, and the campus surroundings are clean and well-maintained. The college offers several scholarships for meritorious students, which is a huge help for many of us. Extracurricular activities like *sports, clubs, and student organizations* are actively encouraged, and there is a good balance between academics and personal growth.

The placement and campus facilities are good.
Placements: 100% of students get placed, except for a few who want to pursue higher studies. The highest CTC is 12 LPA, the lowest is between 2.5 and 3 LPA, and the average for our branch is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JSW, TVS, and Schneider Electric recruit students. I am not sure about the rest. Job roles include development engineer, design engineer, and quality check engineer.
Infrastructure: Our department has 4-5 Wi-Fi networks on each floor, and labs have separate Wi-Fi. Classrooms are also good. We have rooms where 70 members can be easily accommodated. We have good lab facilities, some under development and will be completed in one year. The library is also good, and we can easily find books related to our course. As I don't stay in the hostel, I don't know much about it. The rooms are good, the food is neither too good nor too bad, and the medical facilities are good. The hostel is open from 9 AM to 6 PM. We also have a stadium on our campus.
Faculty: All teachers are qualified Ph.D. holders. They are very knowledgeable, and most are friendly with students. The teaching quality is 8 out of 10, although some are not as good. It will make students industry-ready. Various programs will be conducted regarding this. If you are well prepared, the exams will be easy. If you start studying just one week before, you can still score good marks. However, if not prepared, it will be difficult. The pass percentage is around 80 to 85%.
Other: I am very interested in this course. You will learn from the basics, and industrial visits will be conducted, which will be very helpful. There are more practical classes than theory, which will better prepare us for the industry. Some events related to the branch should also be conducted. Everything is good. Two main fests are organized, and each branch conducts one branch fest. The campus crowd is also great, with trees, plants, and good parking facilities. They support extra-curricular activities like sports events, etc. Additionally, there are many different clubs, and scholarships are also supported.

Join SIT for placements, not for a good college life.
Placements: Mostly, 85 percent of students are placed in SIT. However, only the upper branches, up to ECE, have a placement rate of 90 percent. Branches below ECE only receive a 60 percent placement rate. Top recruits in SIT include Redbus, Oracle, Texas Instruments, Comvault, Junglee Rummy, TCS, and Infosys. Almost 60 percent of students receive internships here. The highest placement offered is 34 LPA from Comvault, and the lowest is 4.2 LPA from TCS.
Infrastructure: Almost each branch has its specific department building. The classes and campus are well-equipped with projectors and Wi-Fi. Hostels are not very good and are not to be appreciated. The mess food is awful, and if you are from North India, you will spend a significant amount of time eating outside the hostel. Wi-Fi is only available for 4-5 rooms per floor. Medical facilities are limited to paracetamol. However, there are plenty of options for sports, including table tennis, badminton, a well-equipped gym, football, cricket, basketball, and tennis grounds.
Faculty: The curriculum is outdated, and the faculty are very rude. They focus solely on studies. To achieve good grades in the semester, be mindful of the limited facilities. The teaching quality is moderate. The curriculum is outdated, so you will need to learn many things on your own. The semester exams are relatively easy; you just need one night to prepare.
