Hi,
Congratulations for such an amazing score. NIT, Rourkela is one of the most renowned college all over the world. It is ranked on 12th position by NIRF rankings. According to the past records the opening rank for ECE Branch to get admission in NIT Rourkela is 4578 and closing rank is 8837. The probability of getting the admission in NIT Rourkela is quite less. If your luck favors then you can surely get into NIT Rourkela. But please do not loose your confidence and hope as you can surely get into other NITs. Other NITs are equally good for ECE branch. The other NITs are:-
NIT, Tiruchirappalli
NIT, Warangal
NIT, Suratkal
MNNIT, Allaha
...more

To get admission into ANITS, simply take EAMCET exam conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. You can even get a seat if you couldn't attempt the exam. Please visit this link for further information, cut-offs, etc.: http://www.anits.edu.in/

Yes, but for that you have to clear all the FE subjects. That simply means, you have to pass in all the first year subjects.

One may find NITs attractive due to their NIT tag, but frankly speaking, all NITs don't stand up to that reputation. For people who have no or little idea about IIITs, I would like to tell them that the 4 IIITs (Allahabad, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Kancheepuram) are institutes of National Importance, just like any other NIT, and focus on the field of Information Technology exclusively (unlike NITs). Moreover, IIIT Jabalpur has an upper hand over the above NITs as it has a collaboration with universities of Japan. So I would suggest going with the following preference: IIIT Jabalpur, then NIT Jalandhar, then NIT Raipur.
