Your rank is about 1Lacs. Just to give you a background information, there are about 15K and 25K seats in IIT's and NIT's respectively. So, you can see for yourself where you stand. As per the ranking SRM University, Chennai Campus is better than KIIT in terms of placement, infrastructure and other criteria. So go for SRM, Chennai campus. All the best.

Now a days, most Public sectors recruie the candidates on the basis of GATE, like BEL, IOCL, BSNL etc. So, you can prepare for GATE, then you can apply for these companies, and then as per number of applications received, companies conduct written test/ interview. Another option is "engineering services" for which you have to prepare your subjects like digital electronics, signals, Digital signal processing, control system, Engineering Mathematics etc. So, focus on these subjects.

To get ECE branch in IIT-Roorkee, you need a rank under top 3000. IIT-Roorkee come under the top 10 IITs. So, there will be a huge competition for admission in IIT-Roorkee.

I guess, probably you may get the admission, because ECE is the second most competitive department after CSE. You have a fair chance to bio related departments.

Hello,
This is the newest campus of VIT and last year students got CSE below 1 Lacs rank easily. And, I think it is not better option to take admission in Bhopal campus, because fees structure is similar to VIT-Vellore and Chennai campus somewhat. And, it's infrastructure is not fully completed, and still it is under development.
If you think to take admission in VIT, then you should refer Vellore or Chennai campus now, and if you are not getting this campus, then you should try other university or college.
