The minimum percentile required to get ECE or Electrical Branch in DTU for an SC candidate under the home state quota may vary each year depending on various factors such as the number of applicants, their performance, and the availability of seats. However, based on the previous year's cutoff, the minimum percentile required for ECE and Electrical Branch for an SC candidate was around 90-92 percentile. Please note that the cutoff may vary each year and it is always advisable to check the official website of DTU for the latest cutoff information.

Congratulations on securing a rank of 6317 in Amrita! Amrita University is comparably better than VIT in terms of academics, placements and exposure. Reputed companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, etc. Visit Amrita University placements to recruit students. CSE has a placement rate of around 85%. The salary packages for the branch range from INR 4-28 LPA. For Amrita University in Coimbatore (main branch), from the previous years cutoff rank, for CSE 16547 (in state-quota) and 6940 (in open-quota). Since your rank is 6317, you might be able to get CSE at Amrita University in Coimbatore.

According to a source, Amrita School of Engineering offers a B.Tech programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at its three campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru and Ettimadai (Coimbatore). Admission to undergraduate engineering courses that are offered in these campuses gets done through the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE). However, I couldn't find any information on whether a rank of 6317 is sufficient for admission into ECE at Amrita School of Engineering. You may want to contact the university directly for more information on admission requirements and eligibility criteria

Both VIT and NIT Trichy are reputed institutions with strong academic programs in Electronics and Communication Engineering. However, NIT Trichy has an advantage in terms of academic reputation as it is a national-level institute with a strong emphasis on academic excellence. The institute has consistently been ranked among the top engineering colleges in India by various national and international ranking agencies. In contrast, VIT has a good reputation for its academic programs but may not have the same level of recognition as NIT Trichy. When it comes to the highest package offered, both institutions have a good placement record. Ho

Choosing between ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) and CSE (Computer Science Engineering) can be a difficult decision, as both branches have their own advantages and opportunities. ECE is a branch that deals with the study of electronics and communication devices and systems, including designing, testing, and manufacturing electronic equipment. CSE, on the other hand, focuses on computer systems, programming, algorithms, and software development. Since you have already completed your Diploma in ECE with a good percentage, you have an understanding of the subject and its scope. If you have a particular interest in electron

I can suggest a few factors one should consider before making a decision.
1. Affiliation and Accreditation: Check if the college is affiliated with any recognised university and if the course is accredited by the appropriate governing body.
2. Curriculum: Check the course curriculum and compare it with similar courses in other colleges. Choose a course that covers the relevant topics and has updated course material.
3. Faculty: Check the credentials of the faculty members, their teaching experiences, and their research interests.
4. Placements: Check past placement records for the respective courses in the college, and if the companies

I don't have access to specific information about colleges or their admission processes. It's also unclear which college you are referring to in your question.
However, generally speaking, admission to engineering programs depends on various factors such as the number of seats available, the number of applicants, the cutoff score, and other eligibility criteria set by the college or university.
If you have the cutoff rank or score required by the college for electronics and communication engineering, you may have a chance of getting a seat. But, it's best to check with the college's admission department or visit their official website fo
