The admission into SSN is based on 2 ways:
1) Anna University counselling (65%)
2) Management quota (35%)
If you have not applied for single window counselling under Anna University then you need to apply separately for SSN and you need to clear an aptitude test for that.
If you have applied for counselling, then your aggregate in PCM out of 200 should be at least 195 and above to get a seat at SSN.

Hi,
To get electronics and communication engineering at VIT, Vellore your rank should be at least 5000 or below to get a normal fee structure.
For the other campuses your rank should be 10000 or below 20000.

Reva University is better for ECE with academics, experienced faculty members, etc. with respect to Christ University.

If you are a book warm, you will get good marks. But you know those subjects in first year are almost same in every stream. Engineering Drawing is one of those subjects I never liked. But don't worry, these are not going to matter. If you get 7.5 or above in 1st sem, and 8 or above in the second sem, you will score good GPA in next semesters.
