If you are passionate about programming and willing to learn new things every two years the Computer Science is field for you. Else you may opt for ECE. ECE has one advantage over Computers that they can be employed in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT and ITES companies whereas Computer engineers are mostly employed by IT companies. I always will recommend ECE over computers.

Considering placement, both have got nearly equal placement options . However, while selecting any college, just go through the placement records for different branches. Considering scope wise, both have got wide scope. So both the branches are awesome. At last, I will suggest you to choose your interest.
