See, as according to today's scenario, CS is the best branch but in the coming future, the scope of EC is very bright as all that CS engineer does all the thing is known by the EC engineer and they are destroying the CS engineer's market.

In India, no university is offering B.Tech or BE degrees in engineering and technology. This type degrees in distance education has banned by government of India. Up to 2009 JNTU Hyderabad, Andhra university Visakhapatnam Nagarjuna university Guntur Karnataka university Mysore, and IGNOU New Delhi offered this type degrees. and AMIE of institution of engineers Calcutta also offer this type. In this AMIE is only recognized by government of India and no other university in India having the recognition by HRD ministry.

I would suggest pursuing B.Tech because it has more opportunities and is overall better than BCA. But, you are eligible to pursue BCA and if you want you can pursue it through lateral entry.

ECE has better placement than Mechanical. But Mechanical has more future opportunities than ECE. But again that all depends on the interest of student. Sometimes Mechanical students are placed better than ECE students.

I am neither a career advisor nor an educationist. I am an ECE graduate currently working as an IT/Software professional. Also, the answer caters specifically to the Indian engineering diaspora. So take my answer with a pinch of salt.
Short answer-
If you strictly have to choose between these two branches in the Indian academic system, go for IT if you want to be closer to a CSE program. The IT program though contains courses encompassing the management and commercial aspects of the industry, you'll still get the minimum or even more coursework required for a career as a software developer or computer scientist in the future.
ECE is what

Mechatronics is an upcoming branch of advanced engineering carrying a huge bunch of potential in it when we talk of job security and opportunities in the coming times. Answering your question, the branch shows more inclination towards mechanical engineering by an approximate rate of 10% because mechanical itself involves imparting you the knowledge of machine building, machine operations etc. Electronics acts as an additional flavour to it. Yet, if your question is considered at academics and theoretical level (exam+books) you will have to study both on equal terms and pass your exams but when you talk of practical implementation and i

Dear, Yes, being an engineering graduate, you are eligible for getting a good job. But there are some more eligibility criteria you are to clear -
I) Your B.Tech required to be cleared with no or very minimum backlog. Ii) Your should have strong knowledge in your domain. Iii) You should be trained in soft skill. Iv) Take some special industrial training related to your field. V) Moreover, you should be smart enough to face interview seriously and sportingly. I hope this will help. Best wishes.
