I would ask you to prefer IT in RAIT. It has a lot of job opportunities and most of the electronic students have to work extra in their final year in order to get job in an IT sector as core companies are very selective. From the placement point of view, you should opt for IT.

Hello Manish,
Nowadays, GIMT is not on that level from where you can take good placements. Due to less admissions in engineering colleges in India, a number of colleges are unable to provide placement nowadays.

A Diploma holder can get admission directly to 2nd year of engineering. Engineering is basically a 4-year course. If you get into 2nd year then you have to complete your engineering in 3 years. You don't have to wait for 4 years.
