The two colleges mentioned are equally good when it comes to ECE. Please compare your preferences and priorities and make the right choice.

Hi Spandan,
Talking about the placements, definitely IT placements are really good, as compared to electronics and telecommunication (E&TC) in VIT Pune. Many of my friends were in the E&TC department. Many of them got placed in IT companies only. Also, this year IT department had 100% placements according to one of my friends in IT department. On an average, most of the IT department gets placed every year, as a lot of IT companies come to the campus.
So, I would suggest you to choose IT branch if you are getting it.
All the Best.

I think IIIT-Sricity is better than NIT, Silchar. As IIITs follow the curriculum of IIIT Hyderabad, which is one of the top universities in India.

Many new engineering colleges are coming up in India and because of this; the job opportunities for teachers are on the rise too. This is because the majority of colleges today opt for those students who have M.Tech degrees or are pursuing their Masters in Technology degree. One other option for students is to go for MBA after their B.Tech degree. They can specialize in Systems and Oper

Both college make a clash in this sense but If you are looking for future studies in foreign then go for MU and KJSCE is autonomous institute, else P.U is also 10th in country and MIT also upgraded to autonomous this year.
If you live in Mumbai better go for KJS and if you are from outside both cities it depends on liking branch if you are trying for computer,IT any you can prefer but for other branches M.U will be better.
My call will be KJS if you select any branch here . All the best for CET results.
