First of all, I would like to tell you that both the colleges are not good enough to have core electronics placement. (That is the worst part of this field). It's good for students who want to pursue Masters or M.Tech. If you are looking for a job after BE, then you will have to compromise and work in IT industry. Both branches can appear for Telecommunication placements but EXTC has better cards there. Think twice before taking these fields. But if you have only two options, then choose Somaiya.

No, you can't change your branch. You will have to take admission in your relevant engineering branch.

Yes, you have a fair chance of getting the branch. Also, youu should fill the branch at the priority in the REAP form.

Yes you will be getting a seat !!,actually nizam college is capable for bsc(maths , electronics,and physics).And your percentage is also good .

Both the colleges are good but ARSD has better faculty than DDUC. So I would suggest you to go with ARSD.
