No need to get confused. Electronics and communication has a number of opportunities in the field of circuit designing, in Telecom, in software skills and a lot more. On the other side electrical engineering. It has more or less equal opportunities. Just try to search the platform (good college) which can provide you this opportunities. As well as prepare yourself for the government. Services like DMRC, DRDO, Telecom, NTPC, etc.

After ITI, you can take direct admission in 2nd year on the basis of Lateral Entry. So, after ITI, the duration of diploma is of 2 years.
