To be clear, you will not be called as an engineer. You will be called a student who has just completed the certification. To be honest, nowadays the competition so tough that even the students who are completing their 4-year degree course, i.e. engineers are struggling to get jobs. Also, the vacancies in this field are generated less in number. So, think that if an engineer applies for the same post you are applying with only one year course, who will get importance? You are actually saying too many things. Firstly, you are saying you are preparing for government service. Secondly you are saying that you are interested in doing MBA. The third thing that you are asking is are you eligible for B.Tech by distance mode? Now if you are preparing for government service or if you are interested in doing MBA then you must be graduate of some discipline.
