Various type of engineering entrance exams are conducted for admission in B.Tech/BE courses. These entrance exams are necessary for a student who wish to pursue the BE/B.Tech programs. JEE Main is the most prestigious entrance exam among the other entrance exams. Most of the engineering colleges are accepting the JEE Main score. JEE Main and advance are necessary for admission in IITs, While JEE Main is necessary for NITs and other government engineering colleges. Hence you have to apply for an entrance exam like JEE Main or State engineering entrance exam, if interested for admission BE/B.Tech courses.

Go for B.Tech CSE. It will help you to get a decent job and better opportunities. Computer engineering is a discipline that integrates several fields of electrical engineering and computer Science required to develop computer hardware and software. A few good institutes offering these courses are:

To become an engineer you need to either pursue B.Tech after PUC (science) or you can also pursue B.Tech after Diploma on the basis of class 10th score.
