Well, there are so many universities which are providing better placements. You should go for B.Tech (Engineering). Getting a good college depends on your score in 12th and the entrance exam you appeared for. You should either go to Computer Science or EC branch for getting a better job with high salary. In starting it would be low but you can get it increased based on your performance, experience and knowledge.

You should opt for electronics and communication branch, because this branch teaches you the mini and micro thing used in the VLSI system. Large components are integrated on very large scale that is VLSI which is done By EC engineers.

If you can pursue your parents to allow you for B.Sc agriculture and other related fields other than engineering then you will get a chance to study bio after 12th. B.Sc agriculture has got very good scope and it also accepts students with PCM in class 12th and trust me, engineering requires no guts, it is a course designed by people like you and me and for the people like you and me. So you may start liking engineering subjects as well, once when you enroll for that if your parents are persuaded.

No, there is a huge difference in Electronic and electrical engineer. If you are asked to fill electrical engineer, then you need to be electrical engineer, not the electronics engineer.
