Engineering Eligibility

Valid score in the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance exam is the primary route through which admission to B.E. / B.Tech takes place in Vimal Jyoti Engineering College, VJEC. The candidates must have completed their 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects with a minimum requirement percentage. For management quota seats, candidates can also be admitted based on their Class 12 marks or through direct counselling. Admission is merit-based, considering the KEAM rank and the applicant's academic performance.

Candidate must have passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained a minimum of mentioned marks. The candiate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized university with PCM. .

The eligibility criteria for pursuing B.Tech/ B.E. at P S R Engineering College are as follows : 

1. Candidate must be passed in 12th standard with aggregate score of 50% in 12th standard from any recognised board.
2.  Candidate must have Physics,   Chemistry, Maths subject in 12th standard. 
3. JEE exam qualification is required (optional)
4. Candidate must have all the required documents like Marksheets of 10th and 12th, Migration Certificate,   CLC, etc.

Eligibility Criteria for B.E/B.Tech
Eligible candidates for B.E/B.Tech at Rao Bahadur Y Mahabaleswarappa Engineering College (RYMEC) are as follows:

Qualification : Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and third subject either Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science.
Minimum Marks: Minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics and the third subject (40% for reserved category students).
Entrance Exam: Karnataka Common Entrance Test, KCET is the major entrance examination for entry. COMEDK UGET has to be taken for management quota seats.
Age Bar: Candidates should be 17 years old or more at the time of admission.

For B.E./B.Tech at PEC, Pondicherry Engineering College the eligibility criteria include 10+2 in PCM (40 % for SC/ST), at least 45 % aggregate. Admission is through a valid score in JEE Main with 50 % weightage, +2 marks 30 % weightage and Normalized marks in PCM with 20 % weightage. For lateral entry, it is required to be above 45 % aggregate (diploma) along with a valid JEE Main score. 480 seats: 360 for JEE Main, 120 for lateral entry, 15% for All India quota, 25% for management quota, 5% for NRI quota; Application fee Rs 500-1,000; Reservation norms as applicable by Puducherry government.

To be eligible for the B.E. / B.Tech programs at M.P. Nachimuthu M. Jaganathan Engineering College (MPNMJ), Students must meet the following criteria:

1. Educational Qualification: Students should have completed their 10+2 education with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in relevant subjects.

2. Local Eligibility : Students must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Those from outside Tamil Nadu must provide a Nativity Certificate.

3. Entrance Exam: Admission is typically through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) process.

Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the HSC (+2) examination conducted by the state and through counselling (TNEA) conducted by Anna university Chennai, selected candidates are allotted to various colleges for admission. The admission process is very easy and simple in our college. Minimum cutoff marks must be above 150 for the CSE ECE EEE department and above 100 for other departments. 

Hi. PR Engineering College (PREC, Thanjavur) offers a 3 - 4 years UG B.E. / B.Tech course. Direct admission is offered to candidates who manage to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria on the basis of past academics. 
At the UG level, PR Engineering College (PREC, Thanjavur) provides a 4 years B.Tech course to the students. To get admission to this course, aspiring students must meet the minimum eligibility requirements - 45.0% in 12th.The entrance exams accepted by the institution for admission to B.E. / B.Tech course are TNEA, CBSE 12th, Tamilnadu 12th .
