To study here, you need to have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. A minimum aggregate of around forty-five to fifty percent in these subjects is the usual requirement. Admission is mostly through TNEA counselling, but the college also offers management quota spots. If you meet the marks and interest requirements, SREC welcomes you into a caring academic community where progress is encouraged every day.

Admission to the B.E./B.Tech programme at CIPET Ahmedabad requires candidates to qualify JEE Main or GUJCET (for Gujarat state quota) and meet the minimum academic criteria of 60% in 10+2 (PCM) for general category (55% for SC/ST). Final selection is based on merit through centralized counselling processes like ACPC (for Gujarat candidates) or JoSAA/CSAB (for All India seats).
