As your son has opted for PCB with applied Maths so he is eligible for engineering courses like B.Tech in Biotechnology, Biomedical, or Environmental Engineering, and in some private colleges, a CS specialisation in BIO/Health Informatics. These match well with his PCB +math subject combo and have reasonable fee options.

Candidates applying for BBA at Academy of Aviation & Engineering must have passed Class 12 from any recognised board or hold a three-year Diploma in any engineering discipline. The course in this sense accepts both freshers and Diploma holders. The diversity in such courses is generally high compared to others, giving more exposure to students.

The School of Technology can be considered a little competitive the acceptance rate stands at 60% which means out of every 100 applicants, 60 candidates are rolled out an offer letter, which makes it hard to get into this school. Admission is based on the merit scores achieved by candidates in the last exam be it 12th or TNEA. After the entrance exam, admission will be alloted through councelling process.
