Trust me when I say you'll get in very easily. Although non-exam merit seats are reportedly 20% of total seats, with the University accepting more than 200 students per branch (according to recent trends) that makes it a total of 40 seats for the non-exam category and of course, if there are 40 students ahead of you, and you're the 41st, you will still get in, simply because one more student means more money and it seems this college wants only that.

First of all, you need to complete your boards syllabus 100% from the NCERT. It would take about an year to do that. Once you are done with it then have a brief revision once. Start giving full test and meanwhile start studying for the portions of JEE Mains that are not included in NCERT. With every test that u give, you will be able to know your weak points and strong points. You won't be able to solve all test questions during the 3 hours but after that remember to solve all those left over questions properly. Never leave or skip any question unsolved after the test. Also, there is a book called 38 years or 39 years IIT-JEE questions

First of all, I would like to tell you that in Mains / Advance at least 55 % of the questions come from class 11th and rest from class 12th. So, from class 11th more portion of paper come. Now to prepare well, you have to devote time on both but not simultaneously. I will recommend to firstly complete class 12th syllabus fully, then move to class 11th to revise. I hope, you know up to CBSE level of class 11th. So that, you can understand class 12th in holidays, try to cover class 11th portion. When you complete class 12th completely, then totally get focused on class 11th syllabus and prepare well. Also, take care to revise for class 1
