Numerical value questions have numerical value or integer in answer. You will get 4 Marks for a correct answer, and -1 is deducted for an incorrect answer. If you don't solve a question, you will get zero marks.

JEE Main cutoff is released for different cateories which include

  • Unreserved (Open category)
  • Reserved Category
    • Gen-EWS
    • OBC-NCL
    • SC
    • ST
    • PwD

Candidates belong to any of the reserve category need to score above than the category cutoff to be eligible for JEE Advanced.

Yes, candidates scoring less than JEE Main cutoff can participate in JEE Main counselling. Candidates must note that JEE Main cutoff is meant to shortlist candidates for appearing in JEE Advanced. The admission of candidates in NITs and other particpating institutes is based on All India Rank of candidates in JEE Mains.

No, they are different. JEE Main answer key mentions the correct answer to the questions asked in the exam whereas response sheet is the recorde copy of answers marked by the candidates during the exam. JEE Main answer key and response sheet are released together.

Deciding whether to take a second year drop for JEE Mains is a big choice and depends on your personal and practical factors. but I suggest you to look at the mistakes that you had committed last  2 times and if you strongly feel that you can rectify that mistakes then just take a chance to give one more attempt on it work hard and don't repeat the mistakes just rectify them.If not just go with other engineering colleges.
