Yes, you can get admission to Alpha College of Engineering for B.E. / B.Tech without the TNEA. To be eligible for the course, the candidate needs to have a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12th in a relevant stream. Admission to the course can be directly on the basis on score obtained in Class 12th exam.

Admission process
The college uses the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) process for B.Tech admissions. This process is overseen by Anna University, Chennai.
Eligibility
Candidates are selected based on their performance in the HSC (+2) exam and the TNEA counseling.

It is possible to take direct admission into Velammal Engineering College to join the B.E./ B.Tech programme without TNEA. However, entry through the management quota comes with its own administrative form. You would have to fulfil the requirements that the college lays down for students under the management quota The fee structure for the seats under management quota is also slightly steeper and vary in a range of Rs 2.5 Lacs to Rs 3 Lacs per annum.

Yes, students can self-finance or join through management quota for the same, they do not require to go through TNEA counseling for admission to B.E./B.Tech programme of K.L.N. College of Engineering. But this option demands compliance with the basic requirements of the 50% pass in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the 12th standard only. The management quota fees are more expensive than the government quota fees which cost on average between RS 100,000 and RS 150,000 yearly.

TNEA counselling usually termed as single window counselling is the main platform major admission to various colleges majoring B.E./B.Tech across Tamil Nadu including Jayaraj Annapackiam CSI College of Engineering. But management quota seats are there every year where people can get direct admission without coming through TNEA.

SAT and JEE are two different exams which solve different purposes.
- While SAT tests applicant's aptitude for English, Maths and Social Science, JEE tests applicants skills for Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
- Both JEE and SAT are conducted online, but only SAT is computer adaptive.
- SAT is accepted for admissions abroad for all types of UG courses irrespective of the fields of study. Whereas, JEE is designed especially for undergrad engineering students
- JEE is conducted in two phases - JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. Whereas there is just one SAT exam and not divided into phases.

Yes, you can get admission to the B.E./B.Tech courses at Radha Govind Group of Institutions (RGGI) without JEE Main. RGGI offers direct admission through management quota or institute-level counseling, in addition to the JEE Main-based process for eligible candidates. You can also be considered for admission based on your performance in other qualifying exams, such as UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination), depending on the course and availability of seats?

Yes, you can get admission to Azad Institute of Engineering and Technology for BTech without the JEE Main exam. To be eligible for the course, the candidate needs to have a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12 in a relevant stream. Eligible candidates will also have to appear for the UPTAC exam ( if not appearing for the JEE Main exam) and score valid marks to secure admission to the course.
