TNEA cutoff for Sardar Raja College of Engineering varies year to year with the demand of that particular course. One of the most demanding courses of computer Science engineering and electronics and communication engineering have a higher cutoff. All those high demand courses, the cutoff range from around 160 to 195 marks out of 200 marks. The lower-demand courses are followed by lesser cutoffs. The cutoff is set considering the marks obtained in 12th grade and also general performance by candidates in the state. Through Management Quota one can get admission to B.E. / B.Tech in Solamalai College of Engineering (SCE) without TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions). On account of the choice of Course and Category, the cutoff for Paavai Engineering College through TNEA differs.
