Every branch is good in B.Tech. It totally depends on your choice. You can try for mechanical and CSE as well which is in demand these days.

The best will be the government college only, that is IIT, IIIT etc. For this you must score a high marks in JEE main and advanced in order to get a seat in this college. If you are of general category then you have to work hard. Even if you are getting the NIT then go for it. Other colleges will be BITS BITSAT, DAIICT, DU, etc.

You will get civil in that branch for first category and CSE in fifth category in which you have to pay more for that. Hope this helps.

Do hard work and put your efforts so that you can make your future bright. Also, CS branch has good scope in private but very less in government whereas civil has more scope in government and private both. Similarly all remaining branch have scope in both the sector. Choose the one which can help you in achieving your aim.
