There is no branch in engineering where anyone can predict guranteed job after 5 years even if you do B.Tech from IIT. Jobs in a branch depend on market & economical conditions, geopolitics situation, political leadership & it's policy, changes in technology, availability of manpower and brand image of Institute etc. You are advised to do engineering in subject of your choice to excel in the field of your choice. Currently CSE & ECE are the best branches in term of opportunities

If you think that you want to do your career in engineering and planning to get higher education , I'll suggest you go with 10+2 level and try to get admission in best institute.
