There are many government engineering colleges which accept IIT-JEE Mains score. You can opt for core branches like computer science, mechanical, and electrical. Computer science is in demand in current scenario and students are getting hefty placements in computer science. Mechanical and electrical will open opportunities in government sectors. For cracking UPSC, all engineering branches have a similar level of difficulty. You may choose your branch based on your interest, not on its ease to clear UPSC.
