Lateral entry is usually for Diploma holders into engineering courses. B.Tech in Physics isn't common; lateral entry in it is rare.

Admission to M.Tech in CSE and M.Tech in ECE will be done through CCMT counselling while for all other courses through CUET PG. Candidates must ensure that they meet the subject-wise eligibility criteria for JNU M.Tech admission 2025.

First of all, IIT Bombay doesn't offer BTech courses based on Home State quota. Candidates with All India quota from any state will be eligible for the counselling rounds. So, if you belong to Delhi, then you are equally eligible than that of a candidates belonging to Bombay.
